For the University of Oregon production of Love's Labor's Lost (2010), the director wanted an opening newsreel to set the time period (1914) and to tell the story of how the King had decided to forswear women. I shot videos of the actors, mimicking the style of newsreel footage from the day. I then heavily processed the clips to create the finished look and feel.
